Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is Image Changer completely free?
Yes. All conversion and editing tools are free, with no usage limits and no subscription required.
Are my images uploaded or saved to any server?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser, using Canvas and native APIs. No file is ever uploaded or stored on servers.
Do I need to create an account to use it?
No registration or login is required. Just open the tool you need and start using it right away.
Can I convert several images at once?
Yes, you can upload up to 5 images at a time. Each image is processed and made available for download individually.
Which image formats are supported?
Image Changer currently converts between PNG, JPG, and WebP. New formats, like AVIF and HEIC, are planned for future versions.
How do I choose the crop area?
Drag the frame over the image to position it, and pull the circles on the corners to resize it.
Will the image get distorted when I resize it?
If the given ratio differs from the original, the image may look stretched. Keep the ratio the same to avoid this.
Why is the compression result always in JPG?
Quality-controlled compression is a characteristic of the JPG format. To keep transparency, use the WebP conversion tool instead.
Does rotating or mirroring change the image quality?
No. These operations only rearrange or flip pixels, with no noticeable quality loss.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, every tool works with your finger on a touchscreen, including the crop frame.
